I really liked this Car seat especially the print and would recommend it but there were 2 things I didn't like.
The straps are very hard to loosen and tighten & the car seat is large. You can not put this car seat in the middle of the back seat because it blocks both front seats from reclining. My husband is 6'2 and needs to have one of the seats far back to ride in it, so we had to put it behind the passenger seat for when he drives.

So I did a LOT of reseach before buying this, read multiple message boards, then to the store to look at them, etc. This replaced a britax that was passed down to DD #2 for my rather large 4 yo girl(40lbs, 40inches)I want to keep her harnessed for as long as I can. I finally decided to go for it b/c of 1)price (though it really wasn't an object) but I am a big fan of bang for your buck, 2)sturdiness, i was never a fan of graco until i bought this seat. It's got a nice weight, sturdy frame. 3)comfort, memory foam! DD loves it, she sleeps very comfortably in it without slumping over like she used to. 4)size, not gigantic like the regent but large it enough to have a big kid sit in it I was concerned about its looks but it's much better looking in person. Finally, who can beat amazon's price! I highly recommend it, I think it will last my DD until she's prob 7-8 yo (My average sized 8yo nephew fits!)

When we started looking for seats, I had several requirements. It had to harness to at least 65lbs preferably to 80lbs, it had to have a semi recline so he wouldn't flop forward when he fell asleep, it had to have plenty of shoulder room, the crotch strap couldn't be under him, it needed plenty of padding, and it needed good safety ratings. Very few seats have high harness weight limits, so that narrowed the field. The Britax Regent was the obvious choice for safety and comfort, but the price was a bit high~especially since we needed two. We purchased these during the semi annual Britax sale, so we got a great deal. I highly recommend this seat to anyone with a child about to outgrow the standard(up to 40lbs) convertible car seat.

I purchased the Evenflo Rainforest car seat, and compared to other bases this base is really great. It has a leveler included on the base so you don't have to purchase an additional product to level the base in the vehicle. It is also nice how easy a carrier is able to be removed from the base all you do is push the handle in and lift up. We had an older Evenflo car seat that was given to us and it was a pain to remove the carrier from the base. It was not an easy task especially when trying to remove a sleeping baby. The new ones are much better to remove and handle.

It is fabulous for it's fabric options of colors and most importantly for it's roominess. My son is on the chunky side, being an exclusively breastfed baby. He is still quite comfortable in this seat and I love being able to just attach him to the stroller as i walk my 4 year old into her her preschool. They work great together. Just a couple problems. 1. If you put coffee in the cup holder and go over a bump it could spill on your child. 2. If you have a diaper bag you want to put on the bottom of the stroller, put it in before you put attach the car seat. Otherwise then that, it is fast to open and to travel with.

Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seat in Tango in the Tongo i bought this carseat in the color 'lotus' (crimson and black) and my daughter loved riding in it. the double infant head support cushion was key during the first couple of weeks - i've talked with other people who've had difficulty using infant carseats with just a single head support, as the newborn's head bobbles around. excellent safety ratings and not TOO heavy, although not the lightest carseat out there. installation of the base into our car (prius) was fairly easy, although it required aggressive tightening (i.e. my brother-in-law getting on top of it and yanking really hard on the straps) to be really secure. getting the carseat in and out of the car was easy, and carrying was fine. the baby fell asleep in it a lot, but also just relaxed and enjoyed being rocked in it when we had it on the floor. nice padding. my only complaint: she outgrew it in 16 weeks.
